Dr Nathan Keates (Nathan Improv) is a lecturer, improvisation and clown teacher and social justice and inclusion researcher. Keates uses theatre-making and media in developing understanding and knowledge. He has been and remains an improviser and clown, which is the focus on this site.
Their doctoral research was on improv with autistic people. Theatre remains an interest through their social sciences scholarship.
